On the occasion of International Mother Tongue (Language) day, Catholic Association of South Kanara (CASK), in collaboration with Konkani Sangh of St Aloysius deemed to be University hosted Konkani traditional songs workshop.
On this occasion CASK Vice President Mrs Marjorie Texeira presided over the function and stressed on survival of Mother Tongue Language and appreciated youth participation and interest towards ancestral traditions. Mr Ullas Rasquinha the Governing Council member of CASK and Alumna of St Aloysius recalled his childhood memories by learning the tradition from his ancestors and he mentioned that he was proud that he handed these traditions to his daughters. Around 100 enthusiastic participants were present for the workshop.

The team of Mand Sobhan comprising of Ms Jasmine Lobo, Dr Ancilla Sequiera, Mr Delston Lobo, Ms Nicole Moras were the resource persons for this Workshop.
Mrs Flora castelino HOD of Konkanni Sangh welcomed and also conducted the entire workshop.
